Heath Cardie
Heath Cardie, is the co-founder of Carner Services, Inc. Formed in 2000, Carner Services owns businesses in the equipment leasing, recycling, installation and refinishing industries. Current revenues are about $11 million. Carner Services has approximately 100 employees and full time contractors in 19 locations around the United States. Mr. Cardie focuses on the areas of financial management, marketing and business strategy. Mr. Cardie began his investment career in 1995 and has worked in a variety of institutional investment positions in Denver and New York City. Mr. Cardie has held the Chartered Financial Analyst designation since 1997. He holds an Masters of Science in Finance degree from the University of Colorado and a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from Ambassador University. He and his wife Rebecca have been married for 24 years and live in Arvada, Colorado. They have 4 boys ages 16 to 21.
Shad Carnes
Shad Carnes is the Business Manager at Spiff Services, Inc., a family-owned enterprise that provides detailing, transportation and exhibition services to heavy truck manufacturers such as Freightliner, Peterbilt and Mack. Shad has worked in this capacity since 1995. For 12 years, he was part owner of an equipment leasing business, Select Laundry, that worked with apartment communities around the United States. Select Laundry was successfully sold in 2018. A serial entrepreneur and aspirant investor, he is involved in several other ventures, including a printing coatings business and an LED strip light technology. Shad has an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh with a concentration in finance, but his most treasured credentials are as a child of God. He and his wife, Jennifer, live outside Cincinnati, OH and have (3) grown-up children.
Andy Geist
Andy Geist is the Senior Vice President of a publically traded company within the US, specializing in providing voice and data services onboard business and commercial aviation aircraft throughout the globe. He is responsible for all aspects of hardware and service sales, global distribution, marketing, and customer support. In his current capacity, Mr. Geist is a founding executive that has helped grow the company from its initial start-up phase, to public trading on the US NASDAQ stock exchange. Over the last 25 years, he has specialized in launching and growing startup businesses, including several new businesses within the private aerospace sector. Mr. Geist holds a bachelor of science in aerospace science and a business management degree from a United States university. He is a licensed commercial pilot and instructor pilot experienced flying many differing types of aircraft. He has a passion for leadership development and helping to encourage others on how to reach their personal and professional goals. He has been married for over 27 years, and is the father of two teenage children.
Patrice Habinshuti
Patrice Habinshuti is an expert with 10+ years of experience in entrepreneurship and business development; specializing in entrepreneur training (experiential/action-learning programs), mentoring & coaching, incubation/acceleration, business connections and access to capital. As a Partner at Woodbury, he coordinates the company's overall operations and oversees investments in Rwanda. Over the past decade, Patrice served leading organizations in entrepreneur development such as the Rwanda Business Development Centre (Director), Envisage Incubators (COO), Wadhwani Foundation (Entrepreneurship Program Manager for East Africa); as well as universities (Regent University Center for Entrepreneurship, University of Rwanda, Hanken School of Economics/Entrepreneurship Society). His ward-winning skills in business planning have earned him 6 awards and recognitions in the past 10 years. Patrice has travelled and worked with entrepreneurial and startup ecosystems in the United States, Finland, Israel, Benin Republic, Kenya and Rwanda. In 2021, he was appointed member of the Ecosystem Advisory Group for the new UNDP Africa Startup Initiative (8 experts across Africa), and is also an appointed Ambassador of the African Tourism Board. He holds a PhD in Business Management (CSJM University, India), an MBA in Entrepreneurship (Regent University, USA); a Certificate in Business Development & Entrepreneurship (Regent University, USA); a Certificate in Grant Writing (Dalhousie University, Canada) & Other World-class Certified Training The Start-Up Lab Certificate (The Do School - Berlin, Germany); Certificate in Leadership (BPN Business Academy), among others. Patrice has travelled and worked with entrepreneurial ecosystems in the United States, Finland, Israel, Benin Republic, Kenya and Rwanda.
Brad Hawkins
Brad Hawkins has owned IFS Investments, an investment management company for 20 years. His entrepreneurial spirit has been instrumental in the development of 6 different additional companies: an international LED light manufacturing and distribution company, an oxygen delivery company, a medical wellness company, a software development company, an event center, and a financial education and training business. Brad has authored 5 books, 10 online courses, and several magazine articles on financial management strategies. Now Brad works as a Business Development Coach to many start-up businesses. His passion is to help others succeed through Biblical strategies. Educated in a private Christian school, Brad received a degree in theology and a second degree in Business Administration and Finance. Brad lives with his wife and 4 kids in Colorado.
Fletcher Keister
Fletcher Keister is the Sr Vice President and North American CFO for Level 3 Communications. In his current role he is responsible for managing the financial performance, operating efficiencies and capital investment decisions for the North American region, a $6B division of the company. Mr. Keister is a 23 year veteran of the Telecommunications industry and has held positions across many diverse functions including Sales, Product Management, Marketing and Finance. Mr. Keister has been married for 22 years and has four children ranging in ages from 15-22 He and his family enjoy traveling with friends, skiing, camping and generally enjoying the Colorado outdoor lifestyle. He is active in his church community and counts his personal relationship with Jesus Christ as the motivation to give his best at all he does for both family and career. Mr. Keister holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from Oregon State University; where he earned All- American honors as captain of the football team. He received his MBA from Portland State University.
